Lasagna is a popular Italian dish that is made with pasta, tomato sauce, and cheese. There are many different ways to make lasagna. The most common way to make lasagna is to boil the noodles and then layer them with a meat sauce and some cheese.

Lasagna can be baked or pan-fried in a skillet or on the stove-top.

- Use a lasagna noodle that is no more than 3 millimeters wide.

- The noodles should be cooked until they are firm and tender, but not brittle.

- Add the sauce, cheese and meat to a skillet and cook until the sauce is bubbling. Add the noodles to the skillet and let it cook for about 3 minutes, until the sauce is completely mixed with the noodles.

- Next, turn up your oven's broiler on low as you layer your lasagna with cheese. Place a baking sheet under your broiler where it will heat up quickly.

- Place lasagna on a rimmed baking sheet that has been lined with aluminum foil and top it with some mozzarella cheese.

- Bake in the oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until the cheese is melted and starts to bubble. .-In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta with a pinch of salt, black pepper and basil.

- Spread this mixture on top of the lasagna.

- Put it back in the oven for 3 minutes or until the cheese starts to brown.
